If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be? Ethnocentrism. I despise how everyone thinks their own country and its traditions is the only right way, and how other countries must change because their way of functioning is wrong and uncivilized. Pride in your nation is alright because it motivates and promotes unity, but people in general excercise too much of it, and it frankly it makes me sick to the point where I've completely converted to misanthropism.
Who is your favorite Hogwarts teacher? Minerva Mcgonagall. She always seems to know the right thing to do, even when she secretly doesn't. No matter what the situation, she has a calm facade, and someone who at least seems to know what's going on is pretty much mandatory in times of panic.
Who is your favorite character in Harry Potter? The Weasley twins (that's two characters, but they go so well together that they're practically one person!) They seem to know exactly how much trouble they could cause and get away with, without actually pulling any serious harm. Sure, they pick on Ron a lot, but theyr'e not horrible siblings. They're just entertaining in general, I couldn't stop laughing at the types of jokes they've played in the fifth book.
Who is your least favorite character in Harry Potter? Cho Chang. I have nothing against her personality, because Rowling created her to be just the average angsty teenage girl, but I just am uncomfortable with the fact that she reminds me of myself!
What makes a person respectable? If they're not afraid to be themselves, if they don't change their personality to suit others, then I take my hat off for them. I respect people who do things because they want to, not because everyone else is.
What is your take on religion? I personally don't follow any religion in particular, but to have one is respectable. Religion helps people keep faith in themselves, it can make people happy because they have something to believe in. However, full fledged wars have been caused by religion, not because of what their god said to do, but because of how people have (mis)interpreted what their god had said. No religion has ever said that their followers must kill all those who have a different belief.
What do you think about house elves? Judging by what I've read in the books, they honestly do seem pleased to be serving others. Maybe it's just in their tradition to serve others, but I don't think I would sign Hermoine's S.P.E.W petition.
What do you look for in a friend? Self-confidence. No one likes a sulky pessimist. A sense of humor, because I love to laugh at incredibly stupid things. Honesty, loyalty, and a love for dancing.
Would you rather have friends and family or money and success? Well, seeing right now that I don't have money or success, but I DO have family and friends... obviously I'd chose to have what I do right now. An unlimited shopping spree might come ridiculously close to making me extremely happy, but without someone to share it with doesn't seem right at all.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? The need for constant change. I can't stick with one hair color, clothing style, even brand of pen for more than a week. I hate stability, but it's making me incredibly broke.
What do you feel is your best quality? I've a strange but unique personality. There are just some things that I see differently than the rest of the population. I think I would make a good cartoon character.
What are your hobbies? I love to draw, listen to comedians and memorize their acts, and music. I try to listen to as many different types of music as possible, so if you have any good bands or artists, feel free to suggest?
Do you want to have children? Yes! I've thoroughly thought this through. I want three children: two boys and a girl as the youngest. I've even named them (it was an incredibly boring bus ride one day..) Evangelina, Christophe, and Jonathan. I'd rather adopt than have my own, though.
Have or would you give time and money to a charity? Yes, I do, most recently to the various tsunami charities.
If your friend was attacked (by a person, animal, or (in the magic world) beast), what would you do? I think at first I would be too astounded to do anything, but when the situation sets into my slow mind, I'd rush in to save my friend. I don't know how I would live with myself if I just stood there and did nothing.
What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish? This may sound incredibly lame, but I've always wanted to learn to play the drums. It's a loud and obnoxious instrument, but it could do wonders dealing with stress. Except my neighbors would hate me so much.
Who is your role model? This changes from week to week, but currently it's the guys from steriogram. I've read various interviews of them, and they've basically climbed from bottom, still slowly working their way up. All their previous tours and promos, they've arranged and done by themselves, under their own label, because they wanted their own sound. They've slept in sheds, in cars, and on the streets so they could get their music out there. It's amazing to see how far along they've come.
What trait most annoys you about other people? Unoriginality. Conformity. I hate how people are afraid to be different, because it's so looked down upon.
What do you want to do for a living? My dream is to be a graphic designer, or to work in the advertisement field. That's right, I'm going to annoy you so badly with commercials.
Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse for any reason? No. I'd love to learn it just for the challenge (and for bragging rights :X) but I believe that no one has the right to kill anyone else.
What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities? I hate talking about myself sometimes...
1) Sense of humor
2) I'm an awesome friend :P
3) Quick learner
Where did you find out about us? saddidy referred me because I was talking about how in every other sorting hat system, I was always put into Ravenclaw. So I wanna see if I really am Ravenclaw material.
