  • What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why?
Well I'm not really sure how extensive the need for an ad exec is, but I love marketing and graphic design. I'm sure the twins need someone to come up with ads for the Prophet and wizarding wireless, am I right? Also I love art and business. I really like to think that I am a creative person and i would love to put that interest to work in the real world. And the idea of being in charge of an important ad campaign or organizing a team to work on a new commercial really excites me. I really want that office job where you're at work and time just flies by because you enjoy it so much. I'm a workaholic and I really think I'd enjoy myself at an ad firm.

  • If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why?
I honestly don't think I could teach. I have no desire to and I can be somewhat impatient when people fail to understand what I'm trying to get across to them. I'd be a worse version of Snape asking about wormwood. But if I was forced or absolutely needed I suppose I could try my hand at Charms. The incantations and what the spells do are great, but I think I'd like to be knowledgeable in what makes the spells do what they do and why the wand movements are important, et cetera. After rereading this I realized how lazy and almost snobbish I sounded, sorry. But if Charms didn't work out I think I would be a brilliant librarian. I love books and I treasure the ones I have. You could trust that the books would be taken care of because I'm weary about loaning my own out and when I do I stress how important their condition is to me. A girl in my English class last year borrowed my Brave New World book and scribbled her own notes over the ones I already had in the book and ripped a few of the pages and the front cover and I really thought I was going to cry when she handed it back.

  • This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not?
Are you kidding me? I may act tough but I'm human and I'm expendable. There is no way I would be so brave or foolish to enter my name. I'd be scared to death of failure, first off and secondly death. Fame and glory mean nothing to me. I'd much rather watch from the sidelines. I would like to think I would consider putting my name in, but after thinking about it, I'd be too afraid of the unknown and what could happen to me. I suppose my health and physical well being are too important to me to risk anything (even if bones can be fixed).

  • If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why?
I would very much like to be a cat. They're just so smart and cunning and the idea of laying sprawled out in a ray of sun just sounds ever so appealing. I hardly wrote anything here...I apologize! But my cat always seems to be having fun, whether he's just hanging out on the couch or enjoying his dinner or chasing my dog(he's a coward) and I really think that I would even more enjoy my time with him if I could share in those simple pleasures. And there's something about catnip that seems exciting.

  • What HP character do you identify with most and why?
Luna Lovegood. She is very much an individual and she doesn't let others opinions get the best of her. She lives life like she wants and doesn't give those who see differently then her the satisfaction. I think I'm unique and I don't give into peer pressure. I have views that I believe in and someone making fun of who I am isn't going to change that. I'm really just myself. I'm open to suggestions but not for criticism if that makes sense...I don't mind getting a recommendation for a book or a band I may like, but when someone pushes their religion or political party at me, all I really want to do is defend what I believe in and stand up for it. I have my beliefs for a reason, because it's how I feel. I just like that I have made myself who I am through my experiences and my choices and I don't like the thought that if someone has an idea and everyone else is too scared to have their own, that they go along with it because they couldn't think for themselves.

  • What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised?
Myself with a husband and children; happy. What I want most in life is to have a happy life with a family I adore and love. My family has always been the most important thing to me so I would like to start my own someday. I really don't think I can say much more here but how important my family is. There is not a single day I could go without seeing them and there is nothing in the world that could replace them. I know that whatever happens in my life, whatever friends leave me, my family will always be there for me.

  • If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it?
I would pay off my parents house and all of our cars. But some land and build myself a house a bit out in the country and put myself through school and a few of my friends who wouldn't be able to go otherwise. I'd also put some money into stocks or some type of savings account so that I know my future family will have money should they need it. I've been working since the day I turned sixteen and I have missed a few family trips because of it so I would also take some time off work and take my family somewhere out of the country and just take a break from everything.

  • What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now?
When I was younger I wanted to be a veterinarian but there is no way I could do that now. The idea of having to put animals down when they're suffering or because there is no longer room for them in a shelter would break my heart. I'm also horribly afraid of needles, so unless there's never a time when I'd need to use one, I couldn't do it. Now I'd like to do something in advertising or marketing.

  • If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it?
I suppose I'd invent a spell to water my plants automatically. I'm always scared that I'll forget to do it and they'll die. I suppose I could call it Vesco Ingenero which is Latin for 'feed plant'. After reading over this again, I realize it was a bad idea to fill this out at 2:30 in the morning. This is the lamest spell. You'd think Neville was my brother or something. But honestly, I can't think of anything useful or something that wouldn't affect free will. I don't like the idea of someone being able to control my choices with a spell or potion (that isn't torture, I'm not talking dark arts here). Maybe a sleeping potion to get rid of my insomnia? That would probably be nice.

  • If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus?
It would most definitely be a needle, they absolutely terrify me! I've been afraid of them since I can remember and I don't really know why. They don't hurt but up until recently the sight of them made me faint. The only thing I could think of it turning into would be one of those push pop popsicles. Actually, yea. Putting that image in my head is pretty silly so I suppose that could work.

  • What do you look for in a friend?
Honestly, loyalty, compatibility. I have to be able to trust them, know that they're going to have my back and we need to have common interests so that we can have meaningful conversations. I know that if I ever needed any of my friends for something, that they would be there to help my in an instance. I think that I would trust my life in the hands of most of my friends and that's what I can really appreciate, knowing that I have put complete trust in my friends. Friends are here to help us through the hard times and be there to enjoy the good. So really just people that get me and are okay with my beliefs and opinions.

  • What trait most annoys you about other people?
Lying. I absolutely cannot stand a liar. Liars are like the lowest of the low. I don't understand the need to lie either. It's a lot easier to tell the truth then it is to tell a lie because eventually you're telling lies to cover up your lies and sooner or later you're going to slip up and then how can people trust you? You've ruined relationships by hiding things instead of just hurting feelings at the most.

  • What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
I am a fantastic listener. I hate to dominate conversation so friends know they can always come to me for an open ear and support. I'm truthful. If I expect honesty from my friends I've got to be the same, right? Telling the truth can hurt but I'd rather it than being dishonest. I am very good at managing my money. I have savings and I make all of my bills on time with plenty to spend on entertainment, et c. Some of the people I work with make about the some or maybe even more than I do, but they don't know how to manage it so they end up spending it on things they don't need and then wonder where their money goes. I'm dependable. If someone needs me, for anything, I'm there to help no questions asked. If they think I need to know, they can tell me later but if someone needs me I'm going to be there for them. I am always looking forward to the future. I know what I want out of life and I am doing everything I can to get where I want to be in the future.

  • What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?
I can be somewhat of a procrastinator when it comes to things like doing the laundry or doing my homework. I'll get it done and it'll be top notch, but I put it off until it has to be finished. It's not really bad, but I plan so much for the future that sometimes I forget to live in the now. I'm a homebody. I love my friends and my family but I like my alone time. I could lock myself in my room for a long time before I grew bored or tired of the seclusion. I'm blunt. I know that I say honesty is the best policy but sometimes I could find more polite ways of wording things but sometimes I just don't care. I often find myself verbally fixing people grammar or pronunciation mistakes. It's rude, I know, but I can't help it.

  • Define in your own words the following key traits:

    • Courage: is really important if you want to get anywhere in life. You have to be courageous to go after your dreams, to stand up for what you believe in and to risk most anything to get where you want to be.
    • Loyalty: is important in so many ways. You have your loyalty to your family to be proud of your name and where you come from. You have your loyalty to your friends who can trust that you'll be there to support them when they need it, no matter the circumstance. And even house loyalty. It'd be wrong to root for Ravenclaw to beat Slytherin in a Quidditch match when you're a snake, eh?
    • Intelligence: is established as your mind grows. I feel intelligence is marked by the knowledge you retain, as well as how you put your knowledge to use.
    • Ambition: is what dreams are made of. I really don't think I could accomplish everything I want in life if I didn't have an earnest desire to do the things I want.

  • Name: Trisha

  • Where did you find out about us? someones profile...unfortunately I can't remember whose.

((I think I covered everything as much as I could but if you need more anywhere, just let me know!))
Everything in italics is new and I really hope the additions help with the no votes. I realize how little I wrote for some things and that I probably should of waited until after I'd slept to fill this out. Sorry for the trouble and I hope it's a better application now!
