What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why? I'd like to say that I want to do something exciting, but, alas, I cannot. I'd love to work in a hospital or something like that where I could stretch my brain..and not get to sleep a lot. But, I'd also like to work somewhere quiet, which most likely wouldn't be found in a hospital. So..maybe a bookstore or a library. It's a bit quiet and unadventurous, but I need to be able to hear myself think.
If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why? I'd like to teach Transfiguration. I love the concept and the irony of objects pretending to be something they're not...like most of the people I know. It also seems to be one of the more challenging classes available at Hogwarts. I'm always up for a challenge...as long as it doesn't involve sports of some sort.
This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not? No. Risk death for glory and the sake of competion? No. I can't stand competitions and people who are insanely competitive. I'd love to pretend to be brave and all, but, honestly, I wouldn't do it. And sports aren't exactly my forte...I did my required 6 years back in grade school. Afetr that, I eagerly exchanged it for an alternative.
If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why? Oooh. This one's hard. I absolutely love the water, but that's not very convenient. I'm deathly afraid of falling, but I'd like to be an owl. I love how stealthy and graceful they are. They're very perceptive and clever, which I think is amazing. They're also night creatures... I hate mornings, but I live for the night. I would also be a big fan of the night-vision. Can't stand having to use flashlights and that sort if thing to see in low-light.
What HP character do you identify with most and why? I'm not sure about this one.. I suppose I'm the most like Hermione. I'm obnoxiously stubborn and book-smart. I deny any relationship with one of my best friends, but I'm also very quiet when I'm not with people I trust. But, unlike Hermione, I have a bad habit of planning to do something or starting a project and either not going through with it or not finishing. It's a quality about myself that I absolutely can't stand.
What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised? I...don't really know. There's nothing that I really really want to achieve...I don't set goals (That way you can't be disappointed when you don't reach them) so that wouldn't be a possibility. I do hope that it wouldn't be something too terribly stupid..Like me with a wheelbarrow of gummy bears or something to that extent...
If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it? *sigh* I hate this question..Does it really matter? MY luck is awful, despite my being part Irish, so I'd probably end up being one number short of winning or something.
I have to answer? Oh all right... I seem to owe my mum a good deal of money form over the years.. and most of my friends. So I'd start by paying them back. If I had any money left after that I'd either bank it all or buy more books or take my friends to some outrageously expenisve city and blow it all on them.
What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now? I wanted to be a dancer/scientist/astronaut/writer/actres
If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it? It would be a potion that created illusions. Very realistic illusions that would leave your contestor shaking in their stupid shiny patent leather boots. Vey useful when trying to distract villains or people about to discover your LJ entries about them. Hmm.. I'll call it...Illusionesin. Totally just made that up.
If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus? I'm afraid of so many things it's not even funny, but it'd probably turn into something stupid like a gecko. *shudder* The other things aren't thigns that could be represented...like time or death. If I countered it it probably turn into soemthign equally as stupid like a balloon animal.
What do you look for in a friend? Someone who is creative and can make me laugh. As well as loyalty and kindness. Isn't afraid to be themselves and is unconditionally weird like me. Not competitve...understanding.
What trait most annoys you about other people? I hate it when people pretend to be something they're not. And when they make fun of other people for being themselves. Or when they're excessively competitve and stupid. Or when they're so freaking stupid and have such a small attention span that they can't read half of a book in one sitting. Okay..maybe that's just me.
What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities? I'm evidently smart...I don't really think so, but my mum has tests to prove it. I'm easy to to talk to..Although I occaisionally find myself pretending to listen. I can focus on one thing for as long as...I think my record is five hours. I can memorize something by writing it. I can remember almost everything about my childhood, starting at about age two.
What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities? I don't do well under pressure. I care what other people think more often than I should. I'm afraid to take risks. I can never finish a project or drawing. I always seem to be late for everything..doesn't matter what it is..unless it's a book release.
