Ah, sorry about the lj-cut, I thought I pasted it correctly but apparently I thought wrong. I apologise for spamming everyone's friends' list. Alright, I tried my best to elaborate further, hope this will be enough. *keeps fingers crossed*

  • What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why?
Research, most likely potions or failing that, something in the medical field. I like things that are objective, with fixed answers. 1+1 = 2, objectivity makes my life a lot easier. A job that has minimal human contact would also be preferable, as I have trouble starting relationships with people. In which case, it is also better if I have very few collegues and that no major changes in staff happens.

  • If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why?
Potions, because it’s the one class I think I will be able to understand easily. Potions to me is simple and straightforward: If you add A to B at this temperature, you get C. No ambiguity, no second-guessing. It is always gives the same results as long as you follow the instructions carefully.

  • This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not?
No. Definitely no. I hate crowds, I hate people, I hate being in public and I especially hate being the focus of public attention. Also, taking part in it means more work. Now why would I willingly saddle myself with that? Responsibility is not something I go looking for. I do what is expected of me and I do it well, but I refuse to take on more responsibilities unless it is absolutely necessary.

  • If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why?
A cat. That way I can snuggle whenever I feel like it and be an anti-social bitch the rest of the time and people would not think twice about it because that’s a cat for you. Aside from that, cats are common animals, which means I would not attract any unnecessary or unwanted attention like the flashier forms tend to do. Cats are also smaller sized so that means I can gain access to places inaccessible by other, bigger lifeforms.

  • What HP character do you identify with most and why?
Now this is a tough one. I would have to go with Severus Snape. Mainly because he is an anti-social bastard. I can also hold a grudge. I despise it when people who have done me wrong get away with things. However, I realize there is a very distinct difference between us – I accept what I receive in life and move on, never yearning for what is not within my reach. So I cannot understand his obsession with the Defense Against the Dark Arts position.

  • What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised?
I will be lazing about with a limitless supply of good books to read and be able to sleep in whenever and for however long I want. Does that count? A peaceful world without pain and suffering and humans, which in my opinion is unattainable but then, it only shows our greatest desires, not what might really happen.

  • If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it?
I will stick half of it into a bank, spend a quarter of it on orphan welfare, eat a good and satisfying meal and spend the rest on books and some of the items I have been lusting after but never really thought about buying because of the price. Then I will get on with my life. Money is well and good and very necessary but it does not dictate a person's life. Whether or not I have the million dollars, I still have to live my life. The difference is in the amount of indulgences i can afford. If I cannot afford it, I will make due with things that are within my financial capabilities. If I can afford it, I will indulge myself in some things that I have wanted for a long time. Fancy frivolities that I will lose interest in very soon are not on my To Buy list. Besides, it is always better to have a decent sum saved up for emergencies.

  • What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now?
A scientist. Yes and no. I’m studying medicine right now and I suppose a doctor can be considered a scientist too. However, when I was a kid, I swore up, down and sideways that I’ll never become a doctor. Ah, the ironies of life. In truth though, if there is a job that pays me to read well authored books that will probably be my dream job.

  • If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it?
A potion to eradicate the entire human race without doing any harm to the environment and animals. Okay that’s a joke. Well, not entirely. Anyway, moving on, I would say something that will eradicate suffering the world over I guess, especially for children. Starvation, abuse, disease, etc. If we cannot properly care for the next generation, then what hope is there for our species to continue strong?

  • If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus?
A bunch of slimy, sticky and completely disgusting earthworms.
A bunch of slimy, sticky and completely disgusting earthworms that disappear.
    Yes, I have no imagination.

  • What do you look for in a friend?
Someone who can put up with me, who respects my almost pathological need for privacy and can stick by me no matter how difficult I am. Someone who can take all the abuse I dish out and still stay by me. Someone I can trust and share with and in turn, trusts me. Someone I can believe in and believes in me. In short, a person that reciprocate my efforts at maintaining a friendship.

  • What trait most annoys you about other people?
The idiocy and stupidity that of 80% of the human race. People who indulge in petty violence and just will not stop bad mouthing people behind their backs. And also bullies who gang up on others but are actually incapable of doing anything when they are on their own. Power in numbers mean jack shit when you only pick on people much weaker than you.

  • What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
    1. Logical thinking
    2. Analytical
    3. Loyal
    4. Ability to learn well and fast if I apply myself
    5. Optimistic

  • What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?
    1. Indecisiveness
    2. Lack of motivation
    3. Distinct lack of empathy for the suffering of others
    4. Cynical
    5. Vengeful

  • Define in your own words the following key traits:

    • Courage: The ability to do what you have to in life when you have to.
    • Loyalty: To stay by a friend in need even if all you can do is be a shoulder to cry on.
    • Intelligence: The ability to actually THINK and not base everything on meager experiences in life.
    • Ambition: Is admirable, but not for me.
