  • What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why? I would definitely love to be some sort of psychiatrist for wizards. Well, if they had it. With my luck they would end up not liking them because they were too muggle-y. If not that, then a singer. I'm a classically trained singer of eight years now and I know I would have loved that.

  • If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why? More than likely it would be DADA. See, I love knowing about the bad creepy crawlies because they fascinate me. For my thirteenth birthday my best friend got me the encyclopedia of vampires and I finished it in a day. There's something about knowing random bits of information that is just really handy.

  • This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not? The glory and fame is nice, but I would have to decide on if I was willing to have that much fame. Or lack of it, towards the end. No one mentioned another champion's name in any of the books. It seems like they're easily forgotten despite all of the work they did, including risking their life.

  • If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why? I love foxes. They're cunning and in Native American Mythology they were the small guys that could kick ass with their mind. I always thought that was cool. My first answer was going to be wolf but I don't think you could be one unless you were a werewolf.

  • If you could be written into any HP Series book as a new character, which book would it be, and who would your character be? Why did you choose that book/character? My new character would be the Moon character that doesn't have a first name or a house. There's something so mysterious about them (they were mentioned in passing in the first book and never heard of again) that interests me. Are they a girl, and if I was playing them they would have to be? Plus, we don't ever hear about crazy people in Hogwarts. There has to be one of them and if I had my way, she would be it. By crazy, I don't mean endearing Luna crazy, but more like "OMFGGETAWAYFROMMEWITHTHATKNIFE" sort of crazy. Every high school has them.

  • What is your favorite magical spell/charm? Why? Sectumsempra absopositively so. It can give as much pain to any opponent that you wish, be it fatal or not. This, with enough backing to it, can be very very very handy. Plus, chicks dig scars.

  • Name three reasons why you would like to be sorted into each House. For Gryffindor they are: courage - and to have courage in all things is rare, strength - as this is a very important thing to have - and respect, because respect is always given to this most noble house. For Hufflepuff they are: loyalty - I am loyal to my friends in any situation as long as they are true to me-, perseverance, and patience - something I have never actually aquired and would rather like to. For Ravenclaw: the intellect and wit that usually goes around with this house and the pride that goes around with having the right answer. For Slytherin: the powerlust - I have even thought about what you could do with the right sort of manpower - willingness to use their enemies' mistakes, and the brotherhood they have.

  • You've received your O.W.L results. What are your results? (You have to have failed or done poorly in at least one subject) I would more than likely get an O in Divination as I do actually scry and do tarot cards at home. Um, for Transfiguration, it would probably be an A because that subject is interesting, but not exactly too interesting for me to study the whole time through it. As I love history with a passion, I would have studied for my History of Magic and gotten an O, another O in DADA because that is just a completely exciting class. Another A would have gone in for Astronomy because all of the stars have stories that tie in with mythology, but my stupidity at math would have only made it acceptable. I'm not good at cooking and have actually almost burnt down my kitchen while trying to boil water, so my grade in Potions would be a D. Herbology would be an O because it seems like it would be an easy class and some good studying would make it worthwhile. Charms would be an O because almost everyone else got them and I think I would love having Flitwick as a teacher. He seems to make it fun for everyone. And finally, Care of Magical Creatures would be an A because I would not like to do the practical part of the exam, instead only trying to do theory.

  • If you could have any superpower - but only ONE - what would it be? Since replicating every other power is out of the question, kinda like asking the genie for another thousand wishes, I would like to read minds. Gaining the access to someone's innermost thoughts is a scary but very enticing idea. Besides secrets, you have what they think of you instead of false words clogging up your valuable time.

  • What HP character do you identify with most and why? I identify with Hermione a lot because of my random knowledge. I also love books with a passion. I can finish a 800 page novel in a day if I don't have anything else to do and retain most of my information. Her determination to be the best is also an inspiration despite the fact that I never really like to try that hard. I like to go the different way and get something without working for it.

  • What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised? Oh, that's a really really hard one. I think it would be my parents being proud of me for my achievements and outshining my sister. Heh, the money, crown jewels, handsome husband, and not having to have kids seems like a good idea for me, but without any restrictions. Living the life of leisure and pleasure.

  • If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it? I would travel the world. People can spend it on houses or the stock market, but I would want to travel the world. Every culture is so interesting because there are similarities when there shouldn't be. I'm living in China right now and it is so completely different than the United States, but sometimes I forget that I'm actually here. It's a culture shock. Besides, I've always wanted to visit Egypt and Greece.

  • Which HP book is your favorite and why? I loved the HBP because it gave Voldemort an even more intricate back story. Harry grew up instead of being in Capslock for so long, and well, everyone evolved. That's what I love about reading is you see how people change because of what happens. To me, Harry seemed to just follow the same ideas without realizing his mistakes. He had a very big on in OoTP and he wasn't about to make that again.

  • Which HP book is your least favorite and why? I'm not fond of the GoF. I don't know the exact reason but it fell flat for me. It was the first of the series that I read on my own, my fifth grade teacher had read the others to us, and it didn't go with my expectations. Not to say that the ending wasn't a shocker, because it was and it nearly gave me a heart attack.

  • What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now? I always wanted to be a famous singer or an Egyptologist. They're both very different but at the time I didn't care about money. Now, I want to be able to live on my own and still do something I love. I want it both ways.

  • If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it? I would definitely invent a potion that would make you resist sleep while your body believed had actually slept. It would be called “Sleep-O-Rama”. I would use it for either studying all night or partying. Few things are better than staying up all night having fun.

  • If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus? Oh ew ew, but a giant cockroach. I have an immense fear of them. They’re so gross and I act like a stereotypical girl that gets up on the chair and screams her head off. If I threw Riddickulus at it, it would probably end up as a cute teddy bear or something. I still wouldn’t touch it. Ew.

  • What do you look for in a friend? Loyalty is definitely a must. Someone I know that is my equal and I can talk to about anything, be it politics or how shiny obsidian is. Randomness is a great quality, but sense of humor has to be there too.

  • What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish? I always wanted to be a big time songstress who could write her own songs. It’s not that I don’t have the confidence, because I’m even almost arrogant, but I don’t have the body for it. That’s what I get for being chubby. Heh.

  • What trait most annoys you about other people? I hate it when people are absolutely deep in their religion. I don’t hate religion, but I dislike it when people can give themselves away to something absolutely without thinking about what that does to them. Plus, a lot of religions have gone away from what was originally taught and people become fanatics. Religion was used as a way for people to love one another, not hate. Spirituality does not include hate.

  • What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities? Well, my top five abilities are my strength, passion, sense of humor, my anger, and caring about people. I only care about the people that mean something to me.

  • What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities? The holding of the grudge is one of my worst because it really isn’t anything to be proud of, but I like it. My other weaknesses are: first impressions never stay with me, I always hate my exes with a passion, always trying to hold tears – I’m not good at it but a while ago I used to be able to go without crying for a year. Now I’m lucky if it is within 6 months -, and hurting after someone dumps me, be it a friend of a boyfriend/girlfriend. I take things too personally sometimes.

  • Define in your own words the following key traits:

    • Courage: It is being able to do anything without being afraid. You can’t be courageous about one thing. It has to be the whole enchilada.
    • Loyalty: You are either to your friends or your family. If you are not loyal to something, I don’t think you can really feel. It is about feeling so intensely for something that you would give up anything.
    • Intelligence: Intelligence is about seeing all sides of the equation and making an accurate guess about it. You have to be open-minded.
    • Ambition: Not caring what you have to give up to get everything you wanted, be it money, friends, family. This is about power and wealth, or even fame.

  • Name: Karina
  • Age: 16
  • What house do you think DOESN'T fit you? (This question is optional for those who feel they just DO NOT fit in a house. Please explain WHY.) I’ve never really believe I would fit in Hufflepuff because I am only loyal to my friends. My loyalty to my family is barely existent.
  • Where did you find out about us? I found about about you from commandeer.
