1. If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
One of the things that crossed my mind was no school? Haha. Why? Because I detest homework to no extent. I like to have fun in my free time. I like to choose what I do with my time. That and the fact that I believe that people learn more from experience and time anyway. I guess maybe not NO school but make it optional for people. People have the choice of how far they want to go. There's a lot more to being smart than knowing what's in the textbooks.

2. What makes a person respectable?
People I find respectable are first and foremost people who know how to respect themselves. How can others appreciate who you are if you hate yourself? I also admire those who know how to treat others. With a mannerism and politeness, but at the same time not be afraid to his/herself. I like people who stand strong in the face of adversity.

3. What do you look for in a friend?
Trust is the first thing I look for in a friend. (You'll understand more why when you get to my top 5 worst and best qualities since I honestly did those first) My secrets are sacred. Only the select few that I know are trustworthy are lucky enough to be considered a 'true' friend. I like someone straightforward and unafraid of truth. If I have a booger hanging out of my nose or if I'm doing something wrong, I want someone to have enough gusto as a friend to be able to tell me. I may not like it, but I'll appreciate your truthfulness.

4. What are your hobbies? I love to draw. I love to write. (Drama is my forte) I sing. And I'm part of my school's drama club. I love the fine arts. Being able to express myself is important to me. I don't like bottling things up.

5. Have or would you give time and money to a charity? I'm still a bit young, so I haven't technically done anything persay. But I look forward to specifically working or volunteering at a local animal shelter. I have a soft-spot for animals. We may not deem them as "smart" as us, but they're each unique and amazing in their own way and since they have no language we can understand, I'd like to be able to help them out and try to understand.

6. What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish? I want to travel around the world. I live in a small town and I just want to get out. Escape. I look forward to flying or sailing. I especially want to go to my ethnic homeland. The Philippines. I've never been there, and there's family there I haven't even met yet. I want to know them more.

7. Who is your role model? My role model is my cousin Mary. Though since I'm family, I get to call her TinTin. She's my role model because I believe role models inspire people. People look up to them. It's not someone I'd like to be persay, but someone that brings out the best in me. She inspires me to read, even though I've sadly found out that reading books isn't always a great way for me to find leisure. She always makes me feel comfortable around her. She inspired the artist in me since she draws herself. And she's unafraid to be herself. I love that fact about her.

8. What trait most annoys you about other people? I revere silence. I'm the type of person who speaks only when I'm spoken to. (Note: that's want. Not need) I don't like it when someone talks too much especially if it's about nothing. It's wasting my time. And people who invade my personal space. I like my privacy thanks.

9. What do you want to do for a living? I mentioned with charity that I want to help out in an animal shelter. For a living, I'd like to be something of a vet or an animal rescuer. It bothers me that some people can be so ignorant and feel that they're far more superior to them. They don't realize how much we need them too. The world got along fine way back when the dinosaurs walked the Earth without our presence. And I guess I could see myself as a lobbyist for an animal rights group. Well..maybe not a lobbyist, but an avid supporter.

10. If your friend was attacked (by a person, animal, or (in the magic world) beast), what would you do?
I cannot deny that I would want to kill this beast or person. Anger gets the best of me. And I am quite vengeful. My weakness and strength is the love I have for my family and friends. I'm very protective of them.

11. Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse for any reason? I see myself not being afraid to use one in defense of a friend or something I really care about. I'm not naturally devious that I'd use the curse for fun or to get my way, but I'm not an angel either where the option of using it is far beyond my reach.

12. What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
  1. protective--of people I care about. I don't like seeing the people I care about get hurt.
  2. dutiful -- I like to get jobs done right. (well minus hw) And I can very much relate to the quote, "If you want something done right, you've got to do it yourself."
  3. good imagination -- as maybe you've already noticed, I love the fine arts and I strive to improve my talent in them
  4. physical activities -- I also excel in sports and physical games. Especially soccer. My hand and eye coordination is key. I love staying active.
  5. simplicity -- I think in simple manners. In many ways and reasons, this is because I see it as 'simpler, the better." It's an easy way out. It's usually swift, dependable and logical. Stupidity and complexity make me laugh.

13. What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?
  1. bluntness -- I tell it like it is, at times not even thinking about what I say might be hurtful. I don't mean to come off as cold or disrespectful, I just value honesty.
  2. selective -- I tend to stick to people who think like me or act like or value the same morals as I do. It's not that I don't get along with others, it's more of the fact that people have to earn my trust and understand that I'm not an open book. You have to dig in deep to know the real me.
  3. hard to trust -- Trust is a big thing for me because it's actually hard to earn it, but once it's given, it's given. I shall trust you completely.
  4. pessimistic -- I tend to see the bad side of things before the good. I'm very skeptical of situations and sometimes of people...
  5. competitive -- I can't say that I'm not a perfectionist and I strive for more success, and if need be, more improvement. And I also tend to compare myself to others...

14. Define in your own words the following key traits:
Courage: the bravery and guts to do something out of the ordinary
Loyalty: standing by someone no matter what
Intelligence: being able to take in what is learned and being able to apply it to real life
Ambition: strive and will for power and recognition

Name: Aimee
Age: 13
What house do you think DOESN'T fit you?
The House I can't see myself fitting in is Ravenclaw. Refer to question #1? *giggle* I don't think a Ravenclaw would want to abandon any opportunity to learn. School is a major factor to that. I think my life would be a bit more pleasant without being forced to learn what and this given time. I like to take things in stride. In order, but in stride.
