If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
Right now, I'd like to end all suffering. There would be no poverty, hunger, HIV/AIDS, cancer, tyrants, etc. There would be no starving kids in Africa, no more poor people in third-world countries (in fact, no third-world countries at all), nobody going through the painful process of chemotherapy, and nobody to live in a government without having the right to voice their opinions.
What makes a person respectable?
What makes a person respectable is how they treat other people, especially how they treat their inferiors. If they are willing to listen to all the opinions and voices of the world and take them in consideration.
What do you look for in a friend?
In a friend, I look for many things. I think the number one thing that I look for is somebody with a very good sense of humor who can laugh at him/herself once in a while. I really love to laugh (who doesn't?). Able to trust and depend on a friend is also very important. I would like to have friends who could be there for me in times of need and I would be there in times of need for them as well. Also somebody that I have certain things in common with, because it would be nice if we could share the same interests.
What are your hobbies?
I like to express myself creatively. I like to write, draw, and take pictures. I like to talk with my friends and have a good laugh. I enjoy watching movies at home and at the theatre. I love to go swimming, especially on hot days. It feels so good to be in the cool water, out of breath and not even breaking a sweat. I like to buy stuff (ie: clothes, shoes, books, CDs, movies, etc). I adore listening to music... any kind of music since I enjoy all genres of music. I also like to play video games but I'm not very good ...yet.
Have or would you give time and money to a charity?
Yes, I've given money and time to charities (American Cancer Society, Red Cross) About would I give time/money to charities: It depends. I would definitely give time to a charity, but I'm not sure about money. The only reason I wouldn't want to donate money is because I always have a nagging thought: what if the charity isn't using that money I donated correctly? I like to get out there myself and help people with my energy and hard work. But if it was a charity where I was sure they would be doing the right thing, I would definitely donate money.
What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish?
I would love to publish a book. Writing has always been a big, big, big passion of mine. I love plots, characters, scenes, typing, climaxes... just everything. I love books and I love to read. I've been trying to develop my own style, but I still do not think I'm good enough. Publishing a book is a challenging task (what with all the rejection letters and such), but it would definitely be fun to take on. Plus... seeing a book written by ME on the bookshelf of a bookstore? That feeling would be just... incredible, I imagine. (often)
Who is your role model?
Well... I don't really have a role model. I strive to be somebody that I know I want to be but I don't model myself after anybody else. I don't think there is somebody in this world who embodies what I want myself to be when I grow older. There are a lot of people who are close, but not close enough, so I don't choose to admire them. But if there was, he/she would be (very) successful, a philanthropist, a writer, and, generally just a good person.
What trait most annoys you about other people?
What really annoys/ticks me off is when people are just plain rude. I hate it when somebody lacks correct manners. It shows that they don't know how to be polite or show respect other people. Lots of things annoy me, but rudeness is #1 on my list.
What do you want to do for a living?
Idealistically, I would want to be a writer that's successful enough to support myself. But, realistically, I don't think that's going to happen. I really haven't chosen a career yet... but what I do for a living will probably be: a dermatologist or an English teacher/professor. Writing books and maybe fashion design on the side ;) Unlikely, but I want it.
If your friend was attacked (by a person, animal, or (in the magic world) beast), what would you do?
Get help immediately. If the person, animal, or beast was still there, I would lure them away by distracting them with myself and make sure my friend was safe.
Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse for any reason?
Yes. As much as I'd like to believe that there is good in everybody out there, there simply isn't. There are psychotic people out there who are just... horrible. I would only do it in very grave situations, where it'd be the only choice. But I wouldn't just randomly go out there to kill people for fun.
