What makes a person respectable? Loyalty to their friends and family, a sense of honor in times that they need it, the ability to follow though, with, a sense of humor that includes few if any racial/religion-bashing/sexuality-bashin
What do you look for in a friend? I look for someone I don’t want to smack all the time for being a moron, or just ignorant, because there’s only so much one person can take. I look for someone who actually cares about someone other than themselves, because there’s nothing worse than trying to be friends with a self-centered individual.
What are your hobbies? I suppose “just look at my interests” wouldn’t be a good answer here? Kidding. Well, reading, writing, drawing (Not that I’m any good at it), swimming, photography, mocking people when they do stupid stuff.
Have or would you give time and money to a charity? I’ve given both in the past, because people do need help.
What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish? I want to become a lawyer to prove my parents wrong. They think that I’ll never succeed in anything, because according to them, I don’t apply myself, and I’m flighty. I mean, yes, I’m flighty, but that doesn’t seem like a reason to tell someone that they won’t succeed in something that they want to do.
Who is your role model? I don’t have a specific one, but anyone who’s achieved something difficult, or something they wanted more than anything else. I’m not talking about tiny stuff, like say, buying a book, but something like, buying a house, getting their dream job, raising children.
What trait most annoys you about other people? Ignorance, especially when they know that what they’re doing is wrong. For example, I used to be on an email list, where someone made a spelling mistake in their subject line, and when someone pointed it out, they purposely continued to spell it wrong.
What do you want to do for a living? I want to be a lawyer, more than anything else. Not sure what branch of the law I want to focus on yet, but I have a fair amount of time to think about it, before I need to be in a specialized program.
If your friend was attacked (by a person, animal, or (in the magic world) beast), what would you do? It depends how badly they were hurt if at all. It’s completely about semantics for me. If it was a verbal attack, then a verbal lashing at the person would be it. If it was something serious like, the death of this friend? Than who or whatever hurt them should be starting to pray for mercy, because I protect my friends. By any means necessary.
Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse for any reason? Of course. You hurt my friends, I hurt you. You hurt my family, I hurt you. Trust me, I have a short temper, and I’m easy to anger. Pissing me off, it’s just asking for a UC.
What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
~ I’m articulate, usually.
~ I can usually find middle ground between two people who are arguing.
~ I blend into the backround pretty easily, but if something happens, I’m right there in the middle trying to fix it.
~ I don’t stick my friends in the middle of my issues with other people
~ I’m always available as a sounding board for anyone who needs to rant/vent/yell/cry/whatever
What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?
~ I have a short temper, and I’m quick to anger
~ I have a very sarcastic sense of humor, and some people don’t get it, so I guess that could be seen as bad
~ I tend to have very little patience when I’m dealing with people who aren’t that bright, even if they’re my friends. Having to explain something more than three times makes me nuts.
~ I can be very touchy sometimes, and everything pisses me off during those times.
Define in your own words the following key traits:
Courage: Having the intelligence to stick up for people when you can, and have the balls to say things when they need to be said, but at the same time, knowing when to back off.
Loyalty: Sticking by the people you care about, no matter what.
Intelligence: Having the sense to know when to talk, and when to keep your pie hole shut. And knowing what you’re talking about when you do talk.
Ambition: To want something, that’s just out of your reach, that will always be out of your reach, but to strive for it anyway.
What house do you think DOESN'T fit you? (This question is optional for those who feel they just DO NOT fit in a house. Please explain WHY.) I don’t want this to be seen as house bashing, and I could be wrong about the members here, but I’d have to go with Ravenclaw, just because for the most part they’re described as bookish, in the sense that they’re kinda-huge bookworms, and that’s so not me anymore. But I mean, if I get put in there, then I get put in there. It’s not one of those things that’ll have a person going “ARGH! You people suck! I’m leaving!” if…anyone gets what I mean.
