If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be? end poverty. It's a seriously attainable goal for less than a small coffee at 7-11 per $100, poverty could be wiped out within a generation. There is too much waste in our society. It's like you read about celebrities and say "what the hell do you really need with 20 cars and a giant house with 27 bathrooms??!" or "do you really need a ring so heavy and gaudy that you can't even wear it without a bodyguard present?"
What makes a person respectable? doing the right thing even though one might not like what that is. keeping your dignity. Taking pride in your accomplishments and being gracious when defeated. being thankful for compliments, but not expecting them.
What do you look for in a friend? loyalty, honesty, someone with a sense of humor, sometimes someone with similar traits, sometimes someone with traits that balance mine. My best friend is actually my ex-boyfriend and he's almost completely opposite of me, but he balances me.
What are your hobbies? shopping, writing, watching television, watching sports, listening to music, playing with my cat, being a coffee conissuer.
Have or would you give time and money to a charity? When the funds become available, I'd like to start some foundations, camps, scholarships to help those with ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) and victims of peer abuse. I adopted my cat from a no-kill shelter. I always dump change into the red buckets at Xmas.
What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish? get out of debt and get recognized for my acting. I want to get out of debt so I'm not always stressed out about money and I can do fun things with my cash including spoiling my friends a little. I want to be recognized for my acting because it's nice to see your hard work pay off.
Who is your role model? People who overcome adversity to be successful, people who inspire others or have experienced things I've experienced...just a few examples are Shirley Manson & Christina Aguilera (both victims of peer abuse), Lance Armstrong (who I believe inspires anyone, no matter what their challenge is, to never give up despite the odds).
What trait most annoys you about other people? lack of common sense, stupidity. Like I've read before...insanity is doing the same thing over and over and over again, getting the same results and not understanding why.
What do you want to do for a living? actress...more specifically, have my own sitcom. I think I'm funny and have this uncanny ability to make people laugh. I love to perform and be creative.
If your friend was attacked (by a person, animal, or (in the magic world) beast), what would you do? come to my friend's aid and kick the crap out of whoever/whatever is doing the attacking. As I've stated in my own lj...you can mess with me, but DO NOT mess with my friends.
Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse for any reason? Possibly, if someone seriously hurt or killed a member of my family or one of my close friends, I might have to consider it.
What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities? loyalty: I've stood by friends/relationships even when it was best to just let them go, determination: I just seem to have this "never give up" attitude, even when I get depressed I eventually come out of my haze and take on the world again, ambition: I moved 2000+ miles from my family and the security of all I knew to pursue a dream, sense of humor: I make people laugh and I even joke about my faults, intellect: I was the first person from my family to graduate college and I have 2 Bachelor of Arts degrees along with a keen business sense
What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities? impatient: Like the Queen song, "I want it all and I want it now", workaholic: I refused to cancel the opening night of my sketch comedy show I was directing and performing in despite having no voice and a 102 degree fever. I did the show., easily distracted: sometimes it is a struggle for me to stay on task, perfectionist: I'm my own worst enemy. I overanalyze my performances, overscrutinize my pictures and go out of my way to find the flaws, prone to moodiness: sometimes I snap at people when I shouldn't and sometimes my ego gets the best of me and turns me into quite the cocky brat (or other b word aka female dog) at times.
Define in your own words the following key traits:
Courage: overcoming obstacles while not showing your fear to your opponent, being brave in the face of adversity
Loyalty: being there for your friends, defending them even if you don't always agree with them.
Intelligence: one doesn't have to necessarily be book smart in order to be intelligent. Some of the brightest people in the world are college dropouts or never even went to college. One can be street smart or have a keen business sense and still be intelligent in their given field. For example, tennis player Andre Agassi doesn't even have a high school diploma, but he is highly intelligent about the game of tennis (the history, analyzing the game, not just playing it) and he started a successful foundation & school in Las Vegas.
Ambition: Making the necessary sacrifices in order to obtain your goals and make your dreams come true. It's the reason I moved over 2000 miles away from my family and friends. It's the reason I have to miss social outings with my friends from time to time. It's the reason I have to work when I'd rather be playing.
Age: it's nothing but a number. I'm old enough to drink, but too young to collect social security.
What house do you think DOESN'T fit you? I think I could fit some better than others, but there aren't any that outright DON'T fit me. At least that's how I feel.
