If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be? I would change the hatred and prejudices if I could change one thing. Hatred and prejudice is the root of all the evil in the world, in my opinion. If we could all just get along and not judge other people based on their race/ability/sexuality/etc, the world would be a much better place for everyone.
What makes a person respectable? A respectable person is loyal, intelligent, and trustworthy. A respectable person would not stab you in the back unless it is completely necessary. A respectable person would stand up for their beliefs and not let anyone step on them. A respectable person would never let someone else tell them what to do. A respectable person would always help others, sometimes even at risk to their own safety. A respectable person would keep a secret.
What do you look for in a friend? I look for someone who is intelligent and trustworthy. I also like people who are into the same music as I am. I should be able to talk with my friends about anything, be it music, family problems, secrets, or life in general, and expect complete secrecy, unless it was about something that could harm my friend or another person.
What are your hobbies? I don't do much. I spend most of my time listening to music, reading, or just lurking around livejournal. I'm lazy. I do like making icons, though.
Have or would you give time and money to a charity? I've been a member of the community service club for the last four years in my school. I would give some time, but not a lot, to a charity. I have my own life, after all, however dull it may be. I wouldn't give money to a charity now, as I'm quite broke, but I would indeed give money to a charity if I had money to spare.
What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish? I want to be a guitarist in a rock 'n' roll band. I've always loved music and it is one of the most important things in my life, in fact it is the most important thing in my life, after my family. Music has encouraged me to do so many things and to change my life in ways that have made me very happy. But I guess if this is supposed to be realistic, I want to be a writer. I've always enjoyed reading and I like writing, especially fiction.
Who is your role model? This is a tough one. I look up to a lot of people, but I don't really have a "role model." I find faults in everyone, so I don't think I really want to be like anyone else or model my life after anyone else's life. I push myself to do things and I encourage myself to be a better person, so I guess I'm my own role model.
What trait most annoys you about other people? I hate people who make fun of other people because they're different. My sisters do it to me because I listen to rock music and they listen to rap and pop. They do it because I wear band t-shirts all the time. They make fun of me because I'm different from them, and it really upsets me.
What do you want to do for a living? I point you to the "What is the one thing you mould most like to accomplish?" question. I really want to be a guitarist.
If your friend was attacked (by a person, animal, or (in the magic world) beast), what would you do? If I was there when my friend was attacked by an animal or beast, I would do everything I could to help him/her short of throwing myself at him/her and trying to help him/her manually. If my friend was attacked by a person, I would do everything I could to support them. I would probably bother the person, if it was someone I wasn't friends with, who had attacked my best friend - I'd glare at them, maybe say something to them. If it was another one of my friends, and they were fighting, I would try to help patch things up between them.
Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse for any reason? Absoutely. If someone was attacking someone I love with an unforgivable curse, I would do the same. What goes around comes around, after all. I wouldn't like it, but under the law (at least in the muggle world), you're allowed to use deadly force to protect yourself and others (I'm not sure about that last part, though). So, yes, I would. For defensive purposes only, however.
What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities? 1. I'm intelligent. I've always been one of the smarter people in school. I don't get the best grades and I have an awful memory when it comes to certain classes (like math, for example), but I have an amazing ability to recall facts in other classes from years before, and I know things that our teachers haven't taught yet. I'm able to work out problems quicker and with more accuracy outside of school than most of the people I know. 2. I'm very open-minded. A lot of things that bother other people don't phase me, or at least don't bother me. My family, for example, is actually very homophobic, but I have gay friends that I love and trust very much. 3. I'm opinionated. I say something when someone says something that bothers me - for example, my mom likes to make fun of other people, but I always point out that it's mean, amongst other things. 4. I'm good at keeping secrets. I have kept so many secrets for so many years without blabbing them, like most of the people I know. 5. I respect other people. On livejournal, for example, I always credit when I use something that isn't mine.
What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities? 1. I have a really bad memory when it comes to some subjects. I forget a lot of things. I tend to remember the most bizarre facts - for example, a flock of seagulls is called a murder - but I can't remember how to figure out the area of a triangle, even though my class reviewed it just last week. 2. I have moodswings and I tend to act like a completely different person from day to day. One minute I could be calm, the next minute I could be nearly crying with frustration. One day, I can be bouncy and energetic, and the next, I can barely get out of bed. 3. I doubt myself often. I sometimes check things over and over, just because I'm nervous about making a mistake. Like, I've reread this sorting questionnaire thirteen times already, and I'm certain that I've still missed a lot of mistakes. 4. I'm very lazy. I'll leave projects that I've been able to do for three months unfinished until the weekend before they're due. I hate doing things that require a lot of effort. 5. I'm obsessive compulsive about so many things. I can't wash dishes because they gross me out. If I get something in my head, I get frustrated when I can't do it or say it immediately.
Define in your own words the following key traits:
Courage: Doing everything at least once and standing up for your own beliefs.
Loyalty: Sticking by other people through good and bad and, again, standing up for your beliefs.
Intelligence: Being able to back up your beliefs. Actually knowing one Led Zeppelin song before you wear a Led Zeppelin shirt. Knowing just enough to survive.
Ambition: Working on things constantly to better yourself, especially when it comes to getting something that you want.
What house do you think DOESN'T fit you? (This question is optional for those who feel they just DO NOT fit in a house. Please explain WHY.)
