What HP character do you identify with most and why? Severus Snape. Everyone sees him as one of the bad guys and admittedly, even if he was really helping Harry, let’s face it: he’s a snarky git. Everyone hates his personality and not even working for the right side can change that. I can relate to him because I, too, have a rotten personality. But despite that, I would still do everything for the people I love even if I have to sell my soul to the devil (which he practically did when he took Voldemort’s mark).
What one moment in the books was the most meaningful to you? It’s from book seven (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) when Harry was telling Albus Severus: “Albus Severus, you were named after two headmasters of Hogwarts. One of Them was Slytherin and he was probably the bravest man I ever knew.” For me, this shows that the prejudice that Voldemort wanted to cultivate in the wizarding world was slowly being washed away through the new generation. Plus the fact that it finally showed Harry recognized Snape’s true loyalty and efforts to help him win and survive.
What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised? Most likely it will show me as a very successful individual (i.e. rich, influential, and powerful). I see achievements as a way for me to ensure a good life not just for me but for my loved ones.
If you were to become headmaster at Hogwarts, what is one thing you would change about the school or how it operates? I would incorporate more subjects that would improve physical strength so that the students would not just rely on their magic to defend themselves, as well as to provide more options other than Quidditch as sports.
If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it? I would invent a spell for void. Basically it would be a spell form of the veil in the Ministry of Magic. I would use it to make my enemies disappear. I would call it the Death Void. Spell for it most likely would be a literal translation to Basque which is “Heriotzaren Hutsunea”.
You have to venture deep into the Forbidden Forest one night. Pick one Harry Potter character other than Hagrid and one object (muggle or magical), besides your wand, that you'd want with you. I would want Severus Snape with me simply because I know he is a very knowledgeable and capable wizard. How do I know? Potions deal with ingredients from magical creatures and plants. As a potions master (and based on his personality), he would definitely be someone who would study these things to ensure a successful potion-making. Since the Forbidden Forest contains both magical fauna and flora, I’m sure my safety’s secured.
What was your ideal job as a child? What is your ideal job now? Do you think it would be the same in the Wizarding World? My ideal job as a child was to be a doctor, simply because I know doctors earn a lot of money and the profession is widely known as a very prestigious and respectable job. My ideal job know would be a Political Scientist as I love researching the law and using that knowledge to crush my enemies. In the wizarding world though, I might be any of the following: • Curse Breaker – I would only have to deal with goblins and I can strike a deal where I get percentage of my finds hence I’ll be rich • Wandmaker – less contact with people (I can just hire someone to handle the selling part) and I can find ways to make specific wands (mine and certain people namely) stronger • Dragon Handler – I love dragons and see them as a symbol of power hence, anyone who handles/tames dragons are powerful witches/wizards
What kinds of decisions are the most difficult for you to make? Anything that deals with the welfare of my loved ones. I always overthink because I always want for us to be the best in everything.
If you had the opportunity to live forever, under what conditions would you accept? And if you did choose to live forever, what would you do with eternity? I would accept on the conditions that: one, I am one of the most powerful person in existence; two, I am one of the richest person in the world (preferably the richest); and three, I get a loyal companion that wouldn’t die either. What I would do with eternity is watch over my lineage and its continuance, as well as ensure we will be at the top of the food chain, so to speak. Might keep an eye on the balance of things as well. It won’t do well to end up in a war the likes of Voldemort started, after all.
What is one thing you would never want said about you? That I’m a freakin’ know-it-all. I’d rather be called cold and rude – because hey, not all people want to realize their mistakes – than be someone who thinks and brags they know everything. Knowing better is different from flaunting your knowledge. Knowledge is a double-edged sword that should be used carefully so that you can control the people around you and ensure you get the best of everything.
Do you believe that moral actions should be judged by the intentions behind them, or by the consequences they create? I believe moral actions should be judged by the consequences they create. “The road to hell is paved with good intentions.” You might have good intentions but not taking in consideration the result can be devastating. What if Harry decided not to come back after Voldemort cast Avada Kedavra on him again in the Forbidden Forest? What if Narcissa Malfoy didn’t value her son and betrayed that Harry is still alive? Or better, what if the Ford Anglia didn’t come for Harry and Ron when Aragog’s children went after them? Hagrid telling them to “follow the spiders” was done in good faith so that they can get information but it could’ve ended up in their deaths.
What do you look for in a friend? • Loyal/Honest – I’ve been betrayed for reasons that are so pathetic it makes me sick how weak people are to succumb to those foolishness. • Appreciation for sarcasm – they say sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, but I say only people who don’t understand the pleasure of cutting someone down to ribbons with your words without being overt about it says that. • Has a sense of humor – too serious people are dull. • Bit mean – otherwise I’ll cut them to ribbons with my bullying
What trait most annoys you about other people? Boastful people who can’t back it up. Seriously, don’t boast about something that you cannot defend to the best of your ability. It makes you look so foolish and a waste of time and space.
What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities? • Loyal – I’m loyal ‘til the end. Though admittedly, it only applies to a select few and only until that person shows/proves they are worthy. • Objective – I judge base on facts and not on my emotions. It gives a clearer picture and helps you make the best decision. • Persistent – I don’t give up on things I believe in and I know is right. • Helpful/Generous – I help out/provide the needs of the people I care about. • Focus – I give my all in doing things that needs to be done or things that I’m passionate about.
What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities? • Moody – my moods can do a 180 without warning especially if someone pushes their stupidity on me. • Impatient – I have no patience on things or people who takes their time on something I’ve already learned/completed/thought about. After all, most people lack something which is supposed to be common: common sense. • Holds grudges – I don’t forget slights/wrongs/mistakes. I might forgive but I’ll never forget. • Cold /Calculating – I don’t do things that doesn’t benefit me. • Pessimist/Cynical – I always look at the bad/negative side of things
