If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?I’d do away with organized religion. Organized religion can be blamed for so many wars, massacres, and attempted genocides. Also it can be used as a tool by people in positions of power to coerce the people into doing what they want them to or else “they’ll face the wrath of god”. I’m religious, but my I’ve never discriminated based on it. Humanity just isn’t and hasn’t ever been capable of handling it correctly.
What makes a person respectable? If someone can or can not be true to themselves it is a sure sign for me whether they respectable or not. If you can’t respect yourself enough to be true to yourself, and you’re the only person in this world you can truly count on 100% of the time it really says something. A good majority of people are so concerned with offending others with their opinions and their feelings that they don’t realize that all they’re showing by keeping their mouth shut is weakness. Be proud to be who you are, even if your scum, you’re worse if you’re lying scum.
What do you look for in a friend?I like people who can tolerate my sometimes abrasive personality, and I like people who’s personalities I can tolerate in reverse. I’m not too huge on have the same likes/dislikes because, although it’s an added bonus, it isn’t a prerequisite. I have plenty of friends with dissimilar interests. One more thing, I like people who don’t try to censor me, it’s a huge pet peeve and I tend to fly off the handle when some dictates to me how I should act and when.
What are your hobbies?Well…I have quite a few. I’m an artist, I love to draw and paint, although I’m not too huge on 3D art (although it’s nice to see, it’s not my forte) I also love those crappy TV drama’s like The O.C., Melrose Place, Law and Order etc. I’m also into Anime. I love to watch it, I draw it (a little, it’s also not my forte) and I go to conventions in the area and cosplay. So if I cosplay, that must me I sew, right? Well…I do….a little o.O
Have or would you give time and money to a charity?Money, it depends. If I have a surplus of money and I’m living comfortably, yeah I would. But if I’m not comfortable, I don’t think I would, and in my current situation I absolutely would not (I’m a college student, I barely have money for ME) Plus it would have to be just the right KIND of charity, because some of them aren’t as helpful as they claim to be. Time….is a little trickier. I’ve donated a few hours, no more than 10, but it was only for the hours on a college application. I’m really lazy, I find it hard to do my own thing sometimes, so I’m 95% sure I wouldn’t, unless I had to.
What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish?I’ve always been about showing off and I’m in computer animation right now, so I’d just love one day to create something unique that catches on, and gets really popular, so I could be like…look….I did this. I also am determined to fall in love, and I refuse to settle for anything less, which means I tend not to date because I always ask one question first (will I want to spend FOREVER with this person?), and I’m usually not satisfied with the answer. And when I am they haven’t been satisfied with me. *bitterbitterbitter*
Who is your role model?Originally…I said my mother, for various reasons. But I’d like to change my response. I don’t have a role model. Role model implies wanting to be like that person, and I don’t want to be like anyone. I want to be completely original, and thus far I think I’ve succeeded.
What trait most annoys you about other people?I have two. Dishonesty and acting stupid. I can’t stand liars, lying takes every crappy thing one’s done and makes it that much worse because you didn’t have the dignity to come clean. Also, stupidity, because let’s be honest….there are some people who talk just to be heard and having nothing relevant to say. And then you like at them and you’re like “Why did you SAY THAT?!?”. Stupid comments are the equivalent of fingernails on a chalkboard to me, and I LITERALLY wince when I hear them.
What do you want to do for a living?I want to be a computer animator. It’s quickly gaining in popularity and more and more CG movies are coming out and they are great, plus the number of games using CG which also live close to our hearts. Also, the pays good. ^_~ And I want to do work on one of the future HP movies (saying that won’t get me kicked down to role playing Hell will it?)
If your friend was attacked (by a person, animal, or (in the magic world) beast), what would you do?Well, it really depends on the situation. I’m not looking to go on any suicide missions. I’d get help if that were the case. But if I could take ‘em, sure I’d help.
Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse for any reason? You’d better believe it. I wish I could use one right now, because to be honest there are some downright dirty dogs out there that will never repent and they DESSERVE something like that. That and I’ve been burned one too many times and I’m a hardcore fan of revenge.
What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
Open – I’ll try anything once, even the blue pill, and I entertain the possibility that I may be wrong on a given topic, although I like to think I’m not ^_^
Adaptability – I can cope with any given atmosphere, and I can do just about anything as long as I put a little effort forward
Independence – I’m under the belief that there is one and only one person that will be there when I need them at any given time, and it’s me, so I’ve learned to be more independent instead of letting others carry me.
Honesty – As much as I rant about this, you’d better believe it’s one of my defining qualities. I call things as I see them, no sugar coating. In the long run it usually helps more than it hurts….usually….I’ve heard people refer to me using some colorful language before though.
Loyalty – I’m quite loyal, I won’t turn on anyone unless they turn on me first. But if I do get turned on, just remember…I don’t know how to be the bigger person.
What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?
Temper – I have a volatile temper and a lot of things set me off.
Bitterness – I never have and never will forgive and forget. I only choose whether or not to recollect, but just cuz I don’t act on it doesn’t mean I don’t still remember, because I always remember.
Narcissism – I don’t leave my house unless I look my best, and I definitely enjoy hearing people give me complements on my looks.
Arrogance – I think I’m better than a lot of people at a lot of things, and that I won’t lie about. It sounds kind of crappy when I put it into words…but it’s just how I feel.
Naivety – I’m gullible, and I’ll buy crap without a shred of proof just because someone “said so”. Bleh.
Define in your own words the following key traits:
Courage:A tool used in overcoming one’s fears to do what has to be done.
Loyalty:Sticking by someone or something you believe that is important to you.
Intelligence:Booksmarts + Worldliness = Intelligence. Being well read, eloquently spoken and knowing how to get through day to day obstacles on top.
Ambition:A feeling inside that helps you to do what you want and get what you want.
What house do you think DOESN'T fit you? Gryffindor. I lack courage. Most of my boldness comes from my pride. Truth be told, when the going gets tough, I tend to get going. Summing it up, I’m chicken. Not an ounce of courage.
